HIT: The First Case

HIT: The First Case is a 2020 action-thriller movie in the Telugu language that was produced by Prashanti Tipirneni and directed by first-timer Sailesh Kolanu. Vishwak Sen, Amir Hossain Ashik, and Ruhani Sharma are the movie's stars. The story revolves around Vikram Rudraraju, a policeman assigned to the Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) of the Telangana state, who is looking into the disappearance of a young girl.

The First Case opened in theatres on February 28, 2020, and it proved to be a successful business endeavor.[2]

A stand-alone sequel to the movie dubbed HIT: The Second Case is planned to come out after it. The First Case was also remade in Hindi under the direction of Kolanu. July 2022 saw the release of both movies.

Plot

Vikram Rudraraju is a Telangana CID police officer who works in the Homicide Intervention Team (HIT). He is intelligent and adept at solving complex crimes by paying close attention to even the slightest details, winning the respect of his senior Viswanath. Neha, a forensic official, and his coworker is the love of his life.

Vikram's close buddy and work colleague Rohit goes with him in the majority of his cases. Akshay, a fellow cop who crosses lines with Vikram, and Vikram are continuously at odds with one another. Vikram occasionally experiences PTSD as a result of his prior experiences, but he refuses to accept medication since he feels it hinders his talents.

Preethi, a girl, is operating a vehicle on the highway when it stops to the side due to a problem. She contacts her father when Officer Ibrahim stops to assist her after realizing she left her phone at home. When her father arrives to fetch her up, he notices that she has vanished. Ibrahim explains that he mistakenly believed it to be his car since she got into a blue vehicle.

Ibrahim doesn't back down when Preethi's parents demand anything of him; instead, he insults them. Viswanath, who is friends with Preethi's parents, chooses to suspend Ibrahim for his actions because he doesn't trust him. To stop his PTSD bouts, Vikram chooses to take a six-month sabbatical. Two months later, Vikram receives word that Neha has vanished. He makes the decision to return to Viswanath and request the case file for Neha's disappearance, but he is told that Akshay is handling the matter and cannot provide it to him.

Vikram chooses to inquire about the cases Neha has handled during the previous two months from Saxena, who is Neha's coworker. Vikram and Rohit make a connection between the disappearances of Preethi and Neha and conclude that the same individual is responsible for both incidents. Vikram makes the decision to look into the matter, asks Srinivas for Preethi's case, and then takes over the investigation.

Meanwhile, Vikram may have been the one to abduct Neha, according to Akshay's concerns. When Vikram chooses to visit Preethi's college, he asks Ajay and Sandhya what occurred the night before, and they both respond by saying that they were in a bar. When Vikram and Rohit inquire about Preethi's parents, they are informed that they perished in a plane crash when she was residing with them.

Sheela, Preethi's neighbor, mentioned her.

When Vikram and Rohit find Sheela's blue vehicle and a letter that Sheela fabricated revealing the location of Preethi's corpse, they begin to piece together the case and come to the conclusion that Sheela abducted Preethi. When Ibrahim later notices the automobile, he claims Sheela was not the person who abducted Preethi. The undetectable body that Vikram and his crew unearth behind the house has some DNA samples on it.

Because Ajay said that Preethi was his lover, Vikram suspects him. While looking for proof, Vikram receives a call from a total stranger called Eesha who is being followed by a man in a car. He asks her to stop so he can speak with her, but she drives quickly and makes it to the outskirts before calling Vikram. Vikram starts his research at the motorway toll booth. Using the surveillance cameras at the toll gates, Vikram determines that Fahad was the kidnapper. Ibrahim is shot dead by Fahad after Vikram, Akshay, and the three of them locate him, and Vikram and Akshay manage to capture him. Fahad leads them to the residence where he got the funds to abduct Preethi. When Vikram discovers that it was Rohit's home, He is killed by a shot from Rohit.

Sapna, Rohit's wife, arrives downstairs as Akshay heads upstairs to fetch Neha. Preeti and Sapna were greatest friends in the orphanage, according to Sapna. Beyond simple friendship, Sapna felt something for Preethi. A couple who were interested in both of them arrived to adopt a kid. Preethi, however, was adopted, which caused Sapna to miss Preethi. Sadly, Preethi's emotions did not change as time went on or even after she married Rohit.

Sapna describes how Preeti was at a party when she noticed her and tried to approach her, but she didn't know her. She apparently never moved on from Preethi. To speak with her, Sapna kidnaps the woman. Preeti is subsequently killed by her, with Rohit burying Preeti to protect Sapna while also planting DNA evidence. Sapna is detained. after Neha Sapna describes Preeti and Sapna's friendship in the orphanage. Sapna's sentiments for Preethi were more than just friendship. A couple arrived to adopt a kid and expressed interest in both of them. Instead, Preethi was adopted, which made Sapna mourn her. Unfortunately, years passed, and even marrying Rohit didn't change Preethi's thoughts.

Sapna describes how she saw Preeti at a club and approached her, but she didn't know her. She never got over Preethi, it turns out. Sapna kidnaps her to communicate with her. She then murders Preeti, and to protect Sapna, she buries her and plants the DNA evidence. Sapna is apprehended. Vikram nearly gets shot while conversing with Neha. It is then alluded to.HIT: The Second Case would continue the tale.

Production[edit]

On 24 October 2019, the film's ceremonial pooja was held and production for the film commenced. Nani and Prashanti Tipirneni produced the film under the "Wall Poster Cinema" banner. This film is their second venture after Awe.^[3] A teaser was launched for a flop on 1 January 2020.^[4] The film's title is an acronym for "Homicide Intervention Team".^[5]
